ABOUT THE STORE CLOSING
Hi all! So, as I've been getting full swing into creating new resin items with the holidays in mind, it's occurred to me that...this isn't really all that fun anymore! My brain is constantly buzzing with 87 different things that I think I should be doing, and it's a little overwhelming at times. I think I actually kind of paralyze myself into inaction over this. It's creating this feeling of failure within me, yet it's completely self imposed. It's time to let some of it go.
Howeverrrr... I'm not going anywhere! Let's get that out of the way. I'm still super passionate about my craft--I think I just have regrets about immediately going so hardcore in trying to monetize my joy. There needs to be some balance here. What I'd like to focus more of my time on is content creation and connecting with others who are passionate about resin. Making videos is one of my favorite parts, yet often one of the more rushed parts. I'd love to spend a little more time honing in on that and growing my following. Plus, I think I'm kinda funny? Hey, it could be cool! Hahaha Anyhow, this will allow me to have more of a "one thing at a time" mindset.
That said, in the coming weeks you can likely expect a little bit of a rebrand (still thinking on that!). I'll also be slashing my shop prices in half in order to try and move some of my inventory. I also have lots of things that aren't listed that I'll post a few flash sales for on my Facebook page as well. Perhaps in the future I can attend a craft fair or two to try and offload some stock as I accumulate it. I'll still take custom orders and, of course, if you see something in a video that you'd really like to have, you can certainly inquire about purchasing it!
I think that covers everything? Thank you so much for following me and I hope you'll stick around for the next chapter of my journey!
XOXO,
Erin
P.S. My earring listings all say “All earrings are $20 each, or two for $35.” Please ignore that. Prices are half off what is listed, and you will see that discount reflected when you check out <3

My jewelry and other small items are made from UV resin, while bigger things, like trinket trays, coasters and such are made from two-part epoxy resin.
For coloring my resin, I use mica powders, resin pigment liquid/paste and alcohol inks. All achieve different effects, just depending on what my desired end goal is. I also use various additives, such as glitter, foil, stickers, dried flowers, etc.
I typically use hypoallergenic stainless steel earring findings.

UV resin doesn’t require any mixing and is ready to use out of the bottle. It cures in minutes under a UV lamp, vs the days it takes for epoxy resin to cure. That said, when working in multiple layers and curing each one, it can take me a bit of time to work on a single pair of earrings, for example. It’s also important that you cure both the top and bottom of each piece, or you might have a little mess when you remove them from the silicone molds!
Epoxy resin comes in two parts (part A—epoxy and part B—hardener) that require mixing…a lot of mixing. It’s important to pour equal amounts of each part and mix them very thoroughly in order to cure properly. Epoxy hardens enough to remove items from their molds in about 24 hours (though there are “fast cure” products that take less time as well), and fully cures over the course of several weeks. You typically have about 30-45 minutes working time after mixing epoxy before it starts to thicken too much to work with.
Proper PPE is important for working with any kind of resin—nitrile gloves and respirator mask, in a well ventilated area.
There are pros and cons to each, just depending on what you want to do. When adding colors to UV resin, it’s important that they are not fully opaque, or the light can’t penetrate in order to cure the resin fully. You have a bit more liberty with adding colors to epoxy resin.

To an extent, yes. I can use the same colors and technique, but because of the nature and fluidity of resin, I can never replicate something exactly. Definitely feel free to reach out using the contact link at the top of the page with any inquiries. Payment in advance is required for any custom requests, and is invoiced securely via Square.

I sure can! Please reach out via the contact link at the top of the page to have a chat. That said, I hope you have a look at the things I already create to get an idea of my style. For example, I might not be the best person to preserve something special in resin for you, but a set of coasters in your fav colors? Sure!
Custom orders require payment prior to beginning work and are invoiced securely via Square.

Shipping usually only takes a few days. I get down to the post office 2-3 times per week, when I send out any orders I might have. If you feel like shipping is taking unusually long, definitely reach out using the contact link at the top of the page.

So I am based out of Baldwin, WI and have had a number of local customers. But at this point, I would prefer to just mail everything. Otherwise, I’ll be running all over timbuktu to deliver orders or waiting for people to arrive at my house. Plus, I’d have to remove the item from the shop and invoice you separately to take the shipping charge off. Ain’t nobody got time for all that!
However, I do have plans to collaborate with some other local businesses in the near future, so you will have the ability to not only patronize one of our many wonderful establishments in this community, but also to see and purchase my wares in person. I will update this section once those plans are finalized and in motion.
